bookahit is tennis club software for Australian clubs: online court booking, joined up with your gates, court lights and cameras. Players book and pay in a few taps, and their gate code is on the gate the instant they book. The lights come on for their booking, and your committee stops handing out keys and taking bookings by phone.

    Each booking's code goes onto your club's security system the moment it's booked, and works only around its time. No waiting for codes to sync. Players can also open the gate with a phone tap or the Open gate button.

Bookings only: $19 + GST per court a month. With your security system connected: $49 + GST per court a month, plus connection and care at $258 + GST a month for 36 months, then $83 + GST. Nothing up front, no other fees, no lock-in, and no court fee for your first 30 days live.

    Site inspection

    bookahit works with a range of security systems. Our integrators inspect your gates, keypads, lights, cameras and switchboard, and quote for what your club needs.

    Set-up

    Your courts, rules and members come across, your gates and lights are connected, and your team is shown around. A set-up checklist in Club admin shows what's done and what's next.

    Go live

    Your booking page goes live at bookahit.com/your-club or on your own web address. With your security system connected, that's the day your gates and lights pass the go-live test with your team on site. Your free period and your connection and care line run from that day: nothing for the connection until you're live.

Questions clubs ask

We're all volunteers. Who does the work of switching?
We do most of it. We set up your club with you, bring your members and your future bookings across from your old system using its export files, train your admins, staff and coaches, and stay close for your first week live.
How long until we're live?
About four weeks from saying yes, plus installation time for any new gate or light hardware.
What if the internet drops? Will players be locked out?
No. Your security system holds each booking's code and its times, so codes keep working without the internet. New codes and light changes go on, and opening the gate from a phone or from Club admin works again, as soon as the connection is back.
Some of our members don't like apps.
They don't need one. Members can book on the website, and the gate code comes in their confirmation email and in My bookings. Your staff can also open a gate for someone from Club admin, and every opening is recorded.
Our gates use a different system, or padlocks.
bookahit works with a range of security systems, and our integrators install them too. Tell us what you have and we'll inspect your site and quote for what it would take, from connecting your system to replacing padlocks with keypads.
Who can open our gates? Is it secure?
A booking's code opens only that court's gate, and only around the booking's time. Club admins use two-step sign-in, and every gate opening, light override and settings change is recorded in your club's activity log. If our team helps remotely, it's for a set time, with a reason, and it shows in your log.
Can we take our data with us if we leave?
Yes. Download your members and your bookings as spreadsheet (CSV) files from Club admin at any time.
