Changing booking systems
Moving your club to bookahit
A tennis club can move to bookahit from ClubSpark or any other booking system: your members and your future bookings come across from a CSV export with each person's email. Every row is checked before anything is saved, bookings get their gate codes where your gates are connected, and we do most of the work with you.
What comes across
Your members
From a CSV file exported by your old system or kept in a spreadsheet: each member's email, name, membership type, member number and dates. Problem rows are listed, and you see what will change before anything is saved.
Your future bookings
From your old system's booking export, with each booker's email. bookahit recognises the usual column names, asks about any it can't find, and checks every row first: courts it doesn't know, times over a closure and clashes are listed for you to fix. Nothing is saved until you press Import.
And out again, any time
Download your members and your bookings as spreadsheet (CSV) files from Club admin whenever you like. Your club's data stays your club's.
How the move goes
1
Tell us about your club
Your courts, your old system, and your gates and lights.
2
Site inspection
If your gates and lights are being connected, our integrators inspect your gates, keypads, lights and switchboard, and quote for what your club needs.
3
Set-up
Your courts, rules and members come across, your gates and lights are connected, and your team is shown around. A set-up checklist in Club admin shows what's done and what's next.
4
Bookings across, then go live
Your future bookings come across, with their gate codes where your gates are connected, and each booker can get one email listing them. Your booking page goes live at bookahit.com/your-club or your own web address.
Once you're live, link your website's booking button and your Google Business Profile to your new booking page, so players find it the way they found the old one. Everything bookahit does is on the features page.
Questions about switching
We're all volunteers. Who does the work?
How long does it take?
Do players have to do anything?
What if the file has mistakes?
Will the old system's rules get in the way?
What does it cost to switch?
Ask about moving your club
Tell us which system your club uses now and how many courts you have. We'll show you bookahit on our demo club and plan the move with you.
